Prof.(Dr.) Alok Misra (Vice Chancellor)

Sagacious Academic Administrator, Dr. Alok Misra is the Vice Chancellor of Mewar University. Chittorgarh, Rajasthan. He graduated from Campus Law Centre of Delhi University. Professor Misra is considered specialist in building Institutional Eco-System, enhancing the happiness quotient, making institutions students-parents-teachers-society friendly and academic brands.

Dr. Alok Misra, M.Sc., LL.B.,LL.M., Ph.D. (Law) is a Professor of Constitutional Law from India. He has experience in Teaching, Research, Administrative and Practicing at Bar of more than three decades. He was the Founder and Chairman of Human Rights Organization and an Associate Member (Indian Section) of Amnesty International (London). He is a Life Member of the Indian Society of International Law, Indian Law Institute, and Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies, New Delhi. He has been a Member of International Council of Jurists, London. His area of interest is Constitutional Law. He is a Consultant in the field of Constitutional Law. He is appreciated as a problem solver and a powerful motivator. In his career, he served as, Deputy Director, Institute of Gifted Children, New Delhi, Administrative Officer (Direct Recruitment Class I Gazetted) in MJPRU, Uttar Pradesh, Principal. Mewar Law Institute, NCR, Professor of Law, Amity Law School (Delhi), as Dean, NMIMS Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai & Country Dean of six other NMIMS Schools of Law in other campuses at Navi Mumbai, Dhule, Bengaluru. Hyderabad, Indore and Chandigarh of NMIMS (Deemed to be University) Mumbai, and as Professor and Dean, Faculty of Law, Jagran Lakecity University (JLU), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

He has been awarded the Enviro-Care International Award-2016 for his efforts and dedication to the cause of environment. He is also the recipient of Academic Excellence Award 2018 (For Contribution to Legal Fraternity). Recently he received Academic Leadership Award 2020 for recognition of leadership, expertise, contribution, devotion, commitment towards legal academics in India.
